IFC Inflow has been designing, manufacturing and supplying tanker access systems and tanker loading equipment for 25 years.
As part of our range we offer general purpose top loading and bottom loading arms that are used to load and unload a variety of liquids, ranging from beverages to petroleum. Whether just for a single arm for specialist applications, or multiple arms to kit a storage terminal, we can deliver the most appropriate product for you.
We have a list of optional extras, such as vapour return and vapour recovery systems, overfill prevention, parking switch and pneumatic arm control systems, remote pendant control, sequenced loading and key interlock and barrier systems.

Chemical bottom loading arms+
The main advantages of the bottom loading arms are that they eliminate the risks associated with working at height, and their closed connections ensure less spillage and vapour loss. Due to these advantages bottom loading is becoming more popular and our chemical bottom loading arms have been designed for liquids that require special handling.
With additional benefits including faster loading and more efficient vapour recovery, the low-level articulated arm design allows safe and secure product transfer from the bottom of road and rail tankers.
The arm comes in 2”, 3”, 4” and 6” bore sizes, and can be manufactured in 304 or 316 stainless or carbon steel.
Our bottom loading arms come with optional extras, such as a floor mounted stand post, or a mounting plate with a parking hook and arm safety lock.
Additionally, you can have a pneumatic control with a fixed or remote pendant, shear valves, proximity switch, control valve and purge and drain points. The tanker interface connection can be a loose flange, camlok or dry-break coupling to ensure leak free connection.

Chemical top loading arms+
Top loading is still common practice throughout many industries and has many associated risks including safe handling of hazardous products, manual handling and recovery of displaced vapours. With our 100 series top loading arms we offer a safe and economic solution to liquid transfer into tankers. There is the option to have a fixed or variable reach and in addition, the articulated design provides maximum strength and flexibility for adding options such as vapour recovery and overfill protection. We can offer a closed filling system for hazardous products and the arms can be thermally clad and heated with oil, steam or electric trace wire.
Whether its bitumen, hydrofluoric acid, molasses, whiskey or washing liquid we have a solution for you.
Our standard top loading arm has an adjustable compression spring balance and features a 5th swivel in the drop pipe. The arm comes in 2”, 3”, 4” and 6” bore sizes, and its wetted parts can be manufactured in 304 or 316 stainless or carbon steel.
The top loading arms come with optional extras, such as a floor mounted stand post, or a mounting plate with a parking hook and arm safety lock.
Additionally, you can have a pneumatic control, auto press-down, remote pendant, mechanical hold-down, vapour cone and vapour return system, proximity switch and a high level shut-off probe.

Heated loading arms+
Our heated loading arm system is designed to fit loading arms that handle products that must be maintained at higher temperatures. These products include bitumen, marine or heavy fuel oil, petrochemicals or foodstuffs such as chocolate.
This system can be applied to both top and bottom loading arms, and the options for heating include electric trace wire, steam or hot oil.
The system has thermal insulation with either a stainless steel or aluminium outer cladding. The insulation has removable jackets at each swivel joint to make maintenance easier.
Full temperature control and monitoring, temperature switches and thermostats to ATEX and safe area standards are all included in the system.
The heated loading arm system has all the same features and benefits of our standard arms. It has a maximum working pressure of 15 bar and a working temperature range of -25 degrees C to +220 degrees C.

PTFE loading arms+
Our PTFE lined loading arms are designed for use when handing corrosive acids, caustics and other aggressive liquids. All the wetted parts on our PTFE arms are PTFE lined for full resistance to the chemical being transferred.
The outer arm is made from either carbon or stainless steel, and the arm is suitable for both open and closed top and bottom loading of road and rail tankers.
Options include closed flange loading connections that prevents the escape of poisonous gases, and vapour recovery systems for open or closed top loading.
The arms come in 2”, 3” or 4” bore sizes, and features a spring balance system to provide easy operation.
The PTFE loading arms come with a number of optional extras including floor mounted stand posts or mounting plates, and a parking hook and arm safety hook. In addition, it has a pneumatic control system with pendant control, high level shut-off, mechanical or pneumatic hold-down, proximity switches, control valves and purge and drain points.
The tanker connection options include threaded, dry-break or other specialist couplings.
